Here’s a selection of the best moments on the red carpet in the first week of the World’s Most Prestigious Film Festival.
Beauties of the Met Costume Gala 2012.
The Met Costume Institute Gala is a Fashion event. Every year, the Met Ball, hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, is the occasion for stars to dress to impress and for us to see beautiful women in stunning gowns, in extravagant dresses or in downright ridiculous outfits. Yeah, it’s mostly about women there; men do come and usually look dapper in tuxedos, in other words: boring! Anyways my favorites are here. Nothing too crazy, but too crazy is not always gorgeous. I mean I love Forence Welch’s fashion statements but that dress sort of made her look like a hen and Beyoncé looked sexy as hell in her sheer dress… until she turned and there was way too much butt cheek for my taste. A little (is incredibly hot and) goes a long way. Scarlett and Sofia doned curve-hugging cream and silver numbers respectively. Dianna and Emily dared bright bold colors. But my personal favorites dressed like Heartbreak Hotel’s desk clerks. In black! No one looked as hot as Rooney in leather and lace. And who other than Cate Blanchett can pull off so many feathers?

Rooney Mara’s Fashionable Promotion of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Soon enough Awards season will begin and we’ll be caught in a whirldwind of red carpets and dresses. And I’ll make my own Joan Rivers and pick my favorite six. I won’t do the worst-dressed, though.
Soon enough The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will open in French movie theaters and Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig, the stars of the David Fincher movie have been promoting it everywhere. And the 26 year-old actress proved to be a fashion sensation. I love her style!
